SAFARI CAMP

Their average life span is 12 years. The female usually gives birth to 2-3 babies after a gestation period of approximately 75 days.

Coatis are a diurnal mammal
meaning they are active during the day and sleep at night.

Coatimundis are native to
the lowland forests of Central South America and Southwestern North America. Their closest relative is the common raccoon.

Coatis are extremely intelligent, inquisitive and very skillful with their hands. Just like children, they play hard and sleep hard. When it’s nap time, there is very little they will get up for. They are very possessive about things they consider to be theirs.
