We have been growing annuals,perrenials,herbs & vegetables since the mid 90’s. Fall 1998 we purchased “Turners Garden Center” and began moving all the greenhouses 10 kms to our location. We operated very successfully from that location. Fall 2007 we decided to move the greenhouses across the road, home to the farm. You would think just moving across the road would be much easier then moving 10 kms. Not so, You don’t realize how much JUNK you have accumulated till you start moving. The junk has all been dealt with (where did it all come from?)

The heating, cooling , watering & alarm systems have all been installed and we have begun seeding for another year. The facility across the road worked well, but our Germination this year is better then ever. We have tripled the size of our parking lot to try and prevent folks from having to park a block away on busy days. This year we will be growing the 1500 varieties that we always have plus a few new ones. The new facility will allow us to expand even further and grow more varieties. We have purchased 2 new greenhouses that will be up and filled for next year. When it comes to bedding plants & perennials “If Stokes Seeds sells the seed then we probably grow it.” The garden center always opens the Saturday closest to May 1st. Shop early for best selection. As we grow it all right here when it is gone it is gone.
